Diner History

This "Silk City" Diner was built in 1953 by the Patterson Vehicle Company & was placed on this site in January of 1954. Thanks to Tom Greenfield and his vision for the future of the Diner, it was restored & reopened in 1994 after setting closed for several years. The Diner stands today as an "Icon" in our community & to date has served millions and millions of cups of coffee & great meals. And, Oh if these walls could talk......
